The recruitment for emcees of the 115th Academic Year Opening Ceremony is now open!
A brief summary is provided below:
1. Eligibility Applicants must be currently enrolled students of National Taiwan University, including undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students. Applicants should possess clear articulation, confident stage presence, and quick responsiveness. Relevant hosting or public speaking experience is preferred. As the primary language of the ceremony is Chinese, selected emcees will be required to host the ceremony in Mandarin Chinese.
2. Application Period and Method Applications are open from now until 5:00 PM, April 30, 2026 (Thursday). Applications must be submitted electronically. All required documents must be received before the deadline, and applicants must receive a confirmation reply on the same day. Late submissions will not be accepted.
3. Selection Process The selection will consist of two stages: document review and interview.
4. Event Date and Venue The Opening Ceremony will be held on September 6, 2026 (Sunday) at the 3rd Floor of the NTU Sports Center. A rehearsal will take place on September 5 (Saturday). Selected emcees must attend both the rehearsal and the ceremony. Additional training sessions (approximately two) will be arranged before the event. Selected emcees are required to participate in the entire ceremony schedule. Additional training sessions (approximately two) and rehearsal arrangements will be scheduled prior to the ceremony.
